The Levvel ‘Planning is Viability’ seminar, held in The Village Hotel in Bournemouth on 22nd October was a big success.
Tandi organised the seminar for Levvel, locating and managing the venue, providing the marketing support and materials, and helping design the presentation and Powerpoint slides.
The seminar was aimed at local developers, planning consultants and architects to explain the changes that were occurring within planning legislation which could adversely affect the future of land supply to the whole building industry.
The selected audience was targeted with weekly email invitations, announcing the issues and planning policies that were to be discussed by Levvel at the seminar. Tandi designed the Levvel website to direct clients to a new dedicated page to register with a online form. This reduced costs for Levvel and avoided the need for paper, print or postage. A seminar folder and informative print materials were provided to attendees on the day.
Attendance was high, with over 20 people in each of the two sessions and the seminar generated a lively debate, with arrival and mid-session tea and coffee breaks allowing Levvel and clients to discuss the issues.
“We are really pleased with how the seminar went, we made some great contacts, met up with old friends, made some new friends and hopefully we can help developers get their projects moving again. The building industry is really struggling at the moment, the housing market has crashed, and just to make things worse, new legislation and taxes are being introduced. We need to get the information out to the small developers and I think the seminar is a great way to get face to face with our market,” says Stuart Woodward, Managing Director of Levvel. “Everything went perfectly on the day, everyone was interested in our information and it has established a number of new clients for future work.
