XSR48 SUPERBOAT WINS ULTIMATE VEHICLE
Following on from its launch in the Gulf last year, the XSR48 Superboat has been named Bespoke Ultimate Vehicle of the Year after beating off stiff competition from three other vehicles.
Bespoke, a pan Arab lifestyle and luxury magazine, shortlisted four modes of transport in recognition of their ground-breaking design and engineering. The XSR48 triumphed over the Honda Jet, Nissan GT-R and KTM RC8 Superbike after being selected as the overall winner by a panel of judges.
Commenting on the accolade, Ian Sanderson, XSMG World's Chief Executive said: "We all thrilled and immensely proud that the XSR48 has been recognised as a super-luxury icon. Being nominated was already seen as a triumph for our design team, to win the award against some of the world's most extraordinary and highest profile design projects and some of the world's largest brands is overwhelming".
This is not the first high-profile award to be won by the XSR48. Previously it received a prestigious Conde Nast Traveller Innovation and Design Award beating nine other contenders in the transport category.
